The historic site of the chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad is located on St. George Street south of today’s Cathedral Basilica.

Built sometime after 1572 a hospital was later attached. It was converted into St. Peter’s Anglican Church during the British Period in Florida and a wooden spire, clock and bell tower were added.
